About

Design and construction under one roof

Most projects stall between the designer, the engineer and the builder. PUKTA Builder keeps all three in the same room, so drawings, budget and permit submittals move together instead of in sequence.

  • Custom home and addition specialists
  • Plan review and permit coordination
  • Structure, shell and finishes in-house
  • Transparent scope and change pricing
Questions

Common questions

Which areas does PUKTA Builder serve?

We work across Tampa, Brandon, Riverview, Valrico, Plant City, Lutz, Land O' Lakes, Wesley Chapel, Odessa, Zephyrhills and Lakeland, covering Hillsborough, Pasco and Polk County. Call (813) 363-6303 with the property address and we will confirm coverage and availability.

Can I use my own architect or plans?

Yes. We build from designs our clients own, and we can coordinate revisions where the drawings need to be adapted to your actual site conditions or to the current Florida Building Code. If you do not have a designer, we can coordinate that stage as well.

Why do bathrooms fail after a remodel?

Almost always waterproofing. Tile and grout are not water barriers, so if the membrane behind them is missing, discontinuous at the drain or not sealed at the corners, water reaches the framing and the failure shows up a year or two later as a stain on the ceiling below.

Do I need a permit for a screen enclosure?

Yes. Screen enclosures are permitted and inspected here because they are engineered for wind uplift and anchored to footings. An unpermitted enclosure is a real problem at sale, and more importantly it is the structure most likely to fail in a storm.

How do I get started?

Call (813) 363-6303 or email builder@pukta.com and describe what the property is doing. We will tell you whether it needs a visit, what the work likely involves, and how soon we can get there. If the scope needs a permit, we handle the application and the inspections.
